Subject: Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary

I would like to take this opportunity to share with all those who are members or read The Counseling Catholics newsletter, of a great spiritual gift that we have in Miami. I am speaking of the religious Congregation of sisters: Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
It is not easy to write words that only the heart contains. Yet, I will do my best to project thru this message the great good that the sisters have made in my life and the life of so many, it would be hard to count. I owe my spiritual growth to this very holy Congregation and that is why I have decided to write this short tribute to Mother Adela Galindo, Foundress of this religious community and all of the sisters.
Mother Adela Galindo (whom we lovingly call Mother) is a very wise young woman whose words always resonate in your soul. In her presence, I am always in awe at how she is able to teach the very profound message of Our Lord in the most simple and understandable manner. I have not met anyone who listening to her speak has not felt the great desire and conviction to Love, Honor and Serve our Lord and to do it through His Most Loving and Immaculate Mother.
I have been blessed beyond measure to know Mother and the Sisters. They are an intricate part of my life. I have found rest in their prayers and consolations in moments of trials and tribulations and have had the great joy of enjoying their company in times of great jubilee.
Mother founded the Congregation with three sisters in 1990. The sisters are Sr. Ana Margarita, Sr. Maria Teresa and Sr. Carmen Maria. The community became a Diocesan Congregation in the Archdioceses of Miami, Florida. The sisters profess vows of poverty, chastity, obedience and a forth vow of being faithful witness to the life, Magisterium and treasures of the Church..
Mother and the sisters use many means of evangelization and formation to help build the civilization of Love and Life. Amongst them are the many conferences they host in the United States and in other countries. These National and International Eucharistic, Marian and Charismatic conferences serve to reach the mass. Yet, I must make note that those who attend the conferences have accessibility to the sisters. They are true Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary. The sisters have a ministry called “the Eucharistic Cenacle.” All are invited to attend the cenacle on Fridays. The Cenacle consists of Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Praises, and prayer for the sick and a teaching. I send many of my clients to The Cenacle because it is a very powerful and grace filled experience. The Lord has healed many emotionally and physically during The Cenacle. First Friday, the Cenacle, is called “The Vigil” and is dedicated to the Sacred Heart.
There are so many ways that the sisters have touched the lives of souls. Amongst the most profound are their yearly pilgrimages. I must encourage those who read this message to contact the sisters: Siervas@corazones.org or log into their webpage www.corazones.org and ask about their pilgrimages. Although, their webpage is mainly in Spanish all of the sisters speak English. I must warn you if it is comfort and vacation that you are looking for then this is not the pilgrimage for you. If it is sacrifice and a true sense of pilgrimage that you seek, then you are in the right place. I have visited remote and secluded as well as well known sanctuaries thru the direction of Mother and the Sisters. It is my belief that the pilgrimages have all made a lasting and noticeable change in my life. During these unforgettable pilgrimages we are lead by the sisters to experience and know the depth of Our Lord and Our Ladies love towards humanity and the great treasures that the Church offers to the faithful.
The sisters also have a ministry (Professionals for the Two Hearts and also Two Hearts for Life) established for all professionals who have dedicated and consecrated their careers to promote The Magisterium of the Church and the Spirituality of the Two Hearts in service of the new civilization of Love and Life. I am a participant of this ministry and I invite all those who are interested in further information to please write me or the sisters. We are in great need of professionals that change the anti-christian current of so many professions by going against the current in a true spirit of love and of service to society. We are called to be salt and light of the world. We can make a difference just one person at a time, just one heart at a time.
My heart is filled with stories and moments when I have experienced the Lord thru Mother or one of the sisters. I hope that all of you are able to visit Miami one day or perhaps you will be able to invite the sisters to your hometown. I encourage you to write to the sisters. They have many tapes available both in Spanish and English of their teachings. It is through our encouragement, prayers and support that we maintain holy orders in existence.
It is hopeful in a world of disillusionments, heart ache and betrayals that there are men and women willing to offer their lives to serve until death to bare life. The sister’s mission is to give life thru the only one who is True Life, Jesus Christ…by means of the most perfect and sure path…the Immaculate Heart of His Mother, Mary Most Holy.
I pray that my most inadequate words have served to manifest the love and attention that Mother and the Sisters have provided in my life. It is thru them that I am able to provide Catholic Counseling. It is their many teachings that have helped me grow and learn about our faith. I thank God for the gift of Mother and the Sisters.
