Subject: [TAC] Daily Excerpt for December 22 2006
Date: December 21, 2006 05:20 pm

Today's excerpt is from St. Maximilian Kolbe:

"There is a difference between words and deeds. The recitation of the act
of consecration is a very good thing, but it is just a promise, not a
fulfillment. We must live our consecration daily. Our life either confirms
or negates our promise. Should we negate it deliberately, we give proof
that we have only a superficial understanding of these things and are
forsaking the Immaculata. We must submit our will to hers so she could act
through us freely. We learn her will from holy obedience. He who sees this
clearly and performs it is a very happy person. (Given before Fr. Kolbe’s
departure for Rome, Jan. 17, 1937)

God Bless.

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, pray for us!

St. Gianna Beretta Molla, pray for us!
