Subject: [TAC] Daily Excerpt for October 30 2006
Date: October 28, 2006 05:35 pm

Today's excerpt is from Bl. Elizabeth of the Trinity:

"...I beg you on His behalf to cast all your anguish and concerns into His
heart. You can unite your agonies to His; He wanted to suffer first so
that in crucifying hours we might be able to say, while looking at Him,
'He has suffered even more than I, and did so in order to tell me of His
love and to lay claim to mine.' The Psalmist says, speaking of Him, 'that
His suffering was as immense as the sea.' And Saint Paul said after him,
'We do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our
weaknesses, for He was tested in all things, like we are'....He has made
Himself our companion on our pilgrimage to help us cross the painful
passage..." (from her Complete Works, Volume II: Letters from Carmel, LT
263, ICS Publications)

God Bless.

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, pray for us!

St. Gianna Beretta Molla, pray for us!
