My dear brothers and sisters members of the Counseling Catholic Newsletter. I beg you to unite in prayer for all the survivors of Katrina and the courageous men and women that are assisting them. We also pray for all those who lost their lives and their loved ones, may the Lord have them all in their Heavenly home.
It is in these moments of tragedy that we truly understand our vulnerability, our nothingness and the Greatness of Our Lord. It is encouraging to watch on television the many heroes’ that continue to put their lives at risk to save others. Our hearts are wrenched as we watch the suffering of so many. We must beg Our Lord to Bless Louisiana and Mississippi with fortitude and peace.
Those of us who live in Florida know the great devastation that a major storm like Katrina leaves in its wake. Yet, each one of us has a story of love and hope offered by our neighbors far and close. Let us unite in prayer and offer our help to support in Christian Love those who are lost, hungry and suffering.
We unite our pleas to the Suffering and Crucified Christ that He may make His Glorious Resurrection known throughout Louisiana and Mississipp and the whole of America.
God bless America,
Mary Camejo
