The Statue of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament

The story of the statue of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament began as a prayer on a cool dark summer night on top of a hill in Medjugorje, former Yugoslavia. I dug into the cold dry dirt with a prayer in my heart asking Our Lady to give me something to help with the sadness that had taken hold of me. I found a heart shaped rock with a hole in it. What I found was what I had become ... a fearful and sorrowful mother. I was beginning to give up hope and my heart was truly hardened and troubled. I asked the Queen of Peace, "How do I get peace?" "Stay at the Cross" was the answer that I received. "Peace is at the Cross." I began making crosses and sacramentals.
